KSPN's 40TH ANNUAL BLITZENBANGER

Local radio station KSPN's annual birthday bash again benefits Challenge Aspen. The event at Aspen Highlands will feature a brewfest, with 15 local and regional breweries pouring suds, and live music at the Merry-Go-Round restaurant and at the base area. And there'll be an on-mountain scavenger hunt, a hot-tub party and the chance to register for the ultimate of prizes--a heli-skiing trip for two to Valdez, Alaska (the grand drawing will be Mar. 27).
 
Admission to the brewfest, from 1-6 p.m., is $20 and includes a 5-ounce commemorative pilzner glass. A portion of proceeds will go to Challenge Aspen.
